4. Moderate; just right. From "周礼·天官·大司徒": "It mentions six virtues: knowledge, benevolence, holiness, righteousness, loyalty, and harmony."
5. Referring to physical health and comfort. From "魏书·彭城王勰传": "Would it be said that the upper spirit has no guidance, and thus causes the holy body to be out of harmony?"
6. Joyful. From Meng Jiao's poem "Choosing Friends": "Though smiling does not necessarily mean harmony, though crying does not necessarily mean sorrow."
7. Mild; a warm climate. From Tao Qian's poem "Peach Blossom Spring": "Grass thrives knowing harmony, trees decline understanding the harsh winds."
8. To make harmonious; to reconcile. From "尚书·周官": "The clan elder oversees the national rites, manages divine beings, and harmonizes situations above and below."
