抜 (batsu)
1. To pull out, to draw out, to pull out completely.
- Example: 抜腿 (pulling out a leg), 抜草 (pulling out grass), 抜牙 (extracting a tooth), 抜苗助长 (pulling seedlings to promote growth).
2. To seize a military stronghold.
- Example: 连拔数城 (seizing several cities in succession).
3. To suck out.
- Example: 抜毒 (sucking out poison), 抜火罐儿 (cupping therapy).
