瘚:
1. Reverse Qi (气逆). Also written as "厥".

In the "Jijiu Pian": “fever, reverse Qi, stasis pain, and warm diseases.” Yan Shigu annotated: “瘚 means Qi rising from below and moving upwards to entrap the heart and ribs.” In the "Shuowen Jiezi", under the section of diseases: “瘚, a sign of Qi rising.” In the "Guangyun" under the rhyme of 'Yue': “瘚, reverse Qi.” In the "Zhengzitong" under the diseases section: “瘚, commonly written as 厥.” In the "Lingshu Jing" discussing forms of lurking evil Qi: “(Spleen meridian) when very slack, leads to weakness and reverse Qi.”
