衈 (èr) 1. In ancient times, before a sacrificial ceremony, livestock were slaughtered to obtain blood for smearing on objects. 2. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, refers to bleeding from the eyes or ears. (动) - To smear animal blood as a pledge before sacrificial rituals.
