1. Wrinkles or pleats on clothing. Example from Liu Zun's "Ying Ling Yong Wu Shi" from the Southern Dynasties, Liang: "The shoes measure the opening of the skirt." From the "New Book of Tang, Volume 24, Clothing Regulations": "For wrapping the head, each side has three folds, symbolizing the three talents." It is interchangeable with "褶" (zhě).
