镦 1. A heavy hammer used for tamping (打夯用的重锤). 2. A flat-bottomed metal sheath at the end of a spear or halberd handle. - Same as "錞" ([En.] metal sheath of spear handle). 3. To stamp a metal plate and change its shape. - Unheated is called "冷镦" (cold stamp), heated is called "热镦" (hot stamp) ([En.] stamp). 4. To castrate ([En.] castrate). - Example: 镦鸡 (castrate a chicken). 5. See also "duì".
