1. 〔髂骨〕 The bones located on both sides of the lower abdomen beneath the waist, one on each side, with the lower edge connecting with the pubic bone and ischium to form the hip bone. Also known as "iliac bone."
(English: The ilium; one of the three bones on each side of the pelvis, located at the upper back region. In the human body, it connects with the ischium and pubic bone to form part of the acetabulum, with a broad upper part and a narrow lower part.)
