鼧 [tuó]
1. A type of mammal, characterized by a sturdy body, large head, small ears, and short, thick limbs. Its fur is a mix of earthy yellow and brown colors. They live in groups in burrows and inhabit fields and grasslands, feeding on plants. Their fur is very valuable. Also known as "旱獭" (groundhog) and colloquially referred to as "土拨鼠" (tumble guinea pig).
