1. Same as "朽" (to decay).
Same as "朽". In "Shuowen Jiezi • Diebu": "朽, 㱙 may be derived from wood." Duan Yucai's note: "Now the character is written as 朽, while 㱙 has become obsolete." In "Mozi • Shangtong": "When there is excess energy, one cannot labor together; rotten 㱙 wealth, cannot be divided."
2. Same as "咼" (to strip or peel).
Same as "咼" (剮). To strip meat. In "Liezi • Tangwen": "In the south of Chu, there is the country of the Yan people; when their relatives die, they 㱙 the meat and dispose of it, and then bury the bones." Yin Jingshun's explanation: "㱙 was originally written as 咼, pronounced as guǎ."
