疣 (yóu) 1. A type of skin disease caused by a virus, characterized by the appearance of small yellow-brown lumps on the skin that are neither painful nor itchy (commonly known as "wart"). 2. A form of skin disease where the pathogen is a virus, resulting in protrusions on the skin that are the same color as normal skin or yellow-brown in hue, with a dry and rough surface. These are typically painless and itch-free, frequently appearing on the face, head, or back of the hands. 3. Used similarly to "尤". Refers to hate, blame; fault. 引: 1. "说文" (Shuōwén) states: 疣, a kind of abnormal growth (zaizhi). It combines the radical for flesh (肉) with the sound "尤." 2. "广雅" (Guǎngyǎ): 疣 means swelling. 3. From "荀子·宥坐": In the present learning, it has never been analogous to abnormal growths, noted for "gathering flesh." 例: 如: 疣子 (a wart). Skin growth on the surface; 疣疮 (wart).
