篸 [zān]
1. (Old) same as “参差”, meaning uneven in length or thickness.
Definition: Describing an appearance where lengths are not uniform.

Note: As noted by Duan Yucai in Qing Dynasty, "there are things that are long and short, thus uneven; both bamboo and wood are like this. Today, people say '参差'."

篸 [cǎn]
