膶:
1. Dialect, euphemism. Due to the homophony of “肝” (liver) and “干” (dry), in Cantonese, there is a taboo that changes them to “润” (rich and moist), which is generally written as “膶.” Therefore, “猪肝” (pig liver) and “鸡肝” (chicken liver) are referred to as “猪膶” (pig膶) and “鸡膶” (chicken膶), respectively; “豆腐干” (tofu dry) is referred to as “豆腐膶” (tofu膶).
