In the "Interpretation of Characters" (《説文•米部》): "䊝, representing 'disperse'." Wang Jun's commentary: "This section (from 'Zuo Zhuan' - 'Zhaogong Year One' concerning 'Cai Cai Shu') correctly interprets it by quoting 'disperse', thus using 'disperse' to explain 䊝 and 'disperse' referring to the act of scattering; this is referred to as mutually extending the meanings."
