Definition of 「䖾」: 1. Suspected to be the same as 【蛤】 or 【蛔】. (Variant: 韩wan) Reference: Wen Yuan Ge Si Ku Ben. 2. Suspected to be the same as 【蛤】 or 【蛔】. (Variant: 韩wan) Reference: Qing Dynasty, Li Yuan: In "Xiao Er Wei Sheng Zong Wei Lun Fang" Volume 2, under the section "Shi Ji Lun": “According to experiential prescriptions, if an infant has not been weaned and eats chicken meat, it may cause the child to develop 䖾 worms.” Note: 䖾 worms are revised to be recorded in Cai's Medical Canon as蚘虫. 3. Qing Dynasty, Li Yuan in "Ru Fan" Volume 4, Chapter 7 on Food: “Shen, is a type of clam, has crab pincers, spotted 䖾, purple shells, marine clams, and Kuei clams.” Note: Spotted 䖾 is suspected to be a miswriting of spotted clam.
