《漢書•王莽傳中》:“日德元厷右,司徒典致文瑞,考圜合規。”
Translation: "In the 'Book of Han', it states: 'On the right side of the Emperor's original form, the Grand Minister presented literary auspices, examining the circular and harmonious regulations.'"
顔師古注:“厷,古肱字。”
Translation: "Yan Shigu's note: '厷' is an ancient character for '肱'."
《敦煌變文集•前漢劉家太子傳》:“漢哀帝愛賢,與之日卧於殿上,以手厷枕賢頭。”
Translation: "In the Dunhuang literature: 'Emperor Ai of Han loved virtuous individuals, often lying in the palace with them, using his arm to pillow their heads.'"
