It belongs to the honeysuckle family, being a shrub-like herbaceous plant found in the wild. The entire plant is used to treat injuries from falls and is additionally known as 接骨草 (jiē gǔ cǎo). For example, 芨芨草 (jī jī cǎo). 芨 [jī] 1. (noun) Plant name: ➊ Belongs to the honeysuckle family, genus Sambucus, shrub-like herbaceous. Leaves are opposite and serrated. Small flowers bloom in summer, featuring cup-shaped yellow glands, with berries being red and round. Commonly found in fields.
