To be stubborn or inflexible. 固执,不变通。 Example: 拘泥 (be rigid), 拘礼 (be formal), 拘迂 (be pedantic). 4. Related to the concept of strict adherence to texts and teachings. 如: 拘文牵墨 (be overly attached to written works), 拘文牵义 (be overly attached to the meaning of words). 5.
