汶 1. 〔~水〕水名,在中国山东省。亦称“大汶河”。 (1) [En.] Name of a river, located in Shandong Province, China. Also known as the "Dawen River." 2. 今大汶水,又称“大汶河”,发源于山东省莱芜县北,古代本经东平县至梁山东南,流入济水。今主流西注东平湖,北入黄河。 (2) The current Dawen River, also known as "Dawenhe," originates from the north of Laiwu County, Shandong Province. In ancient times, it flowed southeast from Dongping County to Liangshan and into Jishui. Now, its main stream flows west into Dongping Lake and north into the Yellow River. 3. 今汶河。古称“汶水”。源出山东省临朐县南,东北流,至安丘东北入潍河。 (3) The current Wen River, formerly known as "Wenshui." It originates from the south of Linqu County, Shandong Province, flows northeast, and enters the Weihe River northeast of Anqiu. 引 1. 《书·禹贡》:浮于汶,达于济。 (Quoting) "The Book of Documents - Tribute of Yu": Floats on the Wen, reaches the Ji. 例 (如:汶上(汶水之北。泛指春秋、战国时期齐国之地); 汶阳川(汶水); 汶阳田(在汶水北。春秋时鲁国属地。在今山东泰安市西南一带); 汶阳田反(比喻失而复返)) (Examples: such as Wen Shang (north of Wen River; generally refers to the land of Qi during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods); Wen Yang Chuan (Wen River); Wen Yang Tian (north of Wen River; was part of the Lu state during Spring and Autumn period, located in the southwest area of present-day Taian, Shandong); Wen Yang Tian Fan (a metaphor for returning after loss). 4. 〔~~〕心中昏暗不明,如“人又谁能以身之察察,受物之~~者乎?” (4) [En.] To feel unclear and dim-hearted, as in "Who can truly understand oneself, receiving the uncertainties of things?" 另见 wèn (See also [wèn])
