An ancient character for "码". It was used in ancient times as a counting token. In modern times, it is also used for counting ([En. code]). - 引: 为胜者立马。(Reward the winner with tokens.) - 例: 马子 (tokens). 3. A surname. 动词 1. 方言: When angry, to stretch one's face like a horse's face ([En. draw face]). - 例: 马起面孔叫他们出去 (Draw your face and tell them to go out). 2. To ride or control a horse ([En. take horse; control a horse]). - 引: 裘马过世家。(The family is well-known for their good horses.) - 例: 裘马扬扬 (The cloak is billowing). 形容词 大的 ([En. big]). - 例: 马道 (a wide road); 马船 (large official boat); 马包 (a sack that is open in the middle and can hold things on both sides).
