In physics, refers to the work done by a force causing an object to move, equivalent to force multiplied by distance: 功率. 4. Skill, ability: 功夫. 功底. 功力 (a. Skill and strength; b. Effectiveness). 功到自然成. 5. Merit; grace: 功德; 恩德. 6. Also understood as “工”. 7. Thing (事): 事情. 8. Works of architecture: 土木营造之事. 9. Engineering project; human labor: 工程和劳动人力. 【引】 1.
