'Heart' radical with the phonetic '尚'). 1. Same as the original meaning (distracted; listless). 同本义 ([En.] distracted;listless). 引: 1 《庄子·则阳》:客出而君惝然若有亡也。 (Translation: When the guest leaves, the lord feels lost as if something is missing.) 2. Alarmed or frightened. 惊惧 ([En.] alarm). 例: 如:惝罔 (lost, distracted; appearance of being alarmed).
