痃 [xuán] 1. In traditional Chinese medicine, it refers to the cord-like hard masses that protrude beside the navel, resembling bowstrings, which vary in size. 痃 [xuán] 1. (Heng- ~) A symptom characterized by swollen and inflamed lymph nodes in the groin caused by lower ulcers. 痃 [xuán] 1. An ancient name for a disease, also called "痃气" (xuán qì). It signifies a cord-like mass beside the umbilicus, and generally refers to the string-like lumps that can develop within the abdominal cavity. In later interpretations,痃病 denotes the cord-like lumps on both sides of the navel; it can also relate to tight sensations in both sides of the ribs and abdominal bloating referred to as痃气. 痃 [xuán] 1. In traditional Chinese medicine, this term indicates the raised cord-like hard masses beside the navel, resembling bowstrings and varying in size.
