Example: 如: 凸兀 (high up); 凸凸 (looks raised); 凸凸囊囊 (bulging); 凸凹 (high and low); 凸杯 (full cup); 凸岸 (convex bank); 凸镜 (convex mirror); 凸透镜 (convex lens). 2. (Referring to the moon or planet) the visible bright portion is greater than a semicircle but not a full circle (gibbous). Example: 如: 凸月 (gibbous moon). 动 1. To protrude or be elevated outside the surrounding surface or range (protrude).
