塔 tǎ 名词 1. A tall building unique to Buddhism, with a pointed top and multiple levels, commonly having seven, nine, or thirteen tiers. The shapes can be round or polygonal, generally used to house relics, scriptures, etc.:宝塔 (Buddhist pagoda), 佛塔 (Buddhist pagoda). 2. A building or object shaped like a tower: 水塔 (water tower), 灯塔 (lighthouse), 纪念塔 (monument tower), 金字塔 (pyramid), 塔楼 (tower building). 3. A surname. 本义:佛塔,亦作“浮屠”。 造字法:形声。从土,荅(dá)声。 1.
