哆 [duō] 1. 〔~嗦〕发抖,战栗,如“冷得打~~”(“嗦”读轻声)。 - 〔~so〕 Shivering, trembling, as in "shivering from the cold." 2. 形容敲击声 - (English: tattoo) Describes a sound made by beating. 3. 〈动〉 - 1. 战栗 ([En.] tremble). - 2. 哆哆 (喋喋。说话没完没了) ([En.] chatter). 例:如: 哆唆(哆哩哆嗦。颤动;发抖); 哆弄(方言:翻弄;摆弄). 引:1. 《儿女英雄传》:张姑娘含着笑,皱着眉,把两只小脚儿点的脚踏儿哆哆的乱响。 - Example: "In 'The Heroine's Tale', Miss Zhang, smiling and frowning, tripped her little feet, causing them to clatter chaotically." 形:张口的样子。 - (English: the appearance of an open mouth). - Reference: "Li Yu Zheng Shi, Volume 1, One Character Zhi Shi, citing Wang Yun's poem about eating perch fish: 'The mouth is wide open, the cheeks are heavy, and the sparkling scales compete with the snow for brightness.'"
