1. A type of marine coelenterate, resembling an open umbrella, that is edible. Commonly referred to as "海蜇" or jellyfish. The body is hemispherical with an umbrella-like top called "海蜇皮", and it has eight tentacles under the mouth, referred to as "海蜇头".
