1. A type of reptile that lives in water, resembling a turtle, with a soft skin on its shell and no patterns. Its flesh is edible, and the shell can be used in medicine. It is also known as "soft-shelled turtle" or "tuan fish," and in some regions, it is referred to as "yuan." Commonly known as "wang ba."
2. (In English: soft-shelled turtle; Amyda sinensis) It belongs to the order Testudines and the family Trionychidae. This species is endemic to China, found throughout the north and south, often inhabiting ponds, rivers, and rice fields. Its meat is delicious and generally considered a delicacy.
