鲸 (jīng)
1. A water-dwelling mammal that lives in the ocean, resembles a fish, is viviparous, has nostrils on the upper part of its head, and breathes through lungs. Its body can reach lengths of up to thirty meters, making it the largest animal in the world today. (Commonly known as "whale".)
